Themelia: Community as remedy to spiritual solitude

[ENG]

Beloved brothers and sisters,

We gather today within the coils of the Serpent, in a time where the world outside these walls is suffering from a silent, yet devastating, plague: the fragmentation of the soul. Contemporary society, in its frantic pursuit of material certainty, has created a desert of fractured connections, leaving the individual to navigate an ocean of existence without a compass, drowning in absolute spiritual solitude.

The name “God” is nowadays a name that often appears empty in the mouths of the profanes, a signifier without a tangible referent in a world that has forgotten how to listen. This “epistemic abyss” between the human and the Divine has become, for many, a source of nihilistic despair. The contemporary man cries out into the void, and receiving only silence in return, he concludes that he is alone.

But we, the Synodus, know that this silence is not a void to be feared, but a sacred space to be inhabited together. Our community is not merely a social gathering; it is a Pharmakon, both a remedy and a sacred venom against the isolation of the modern age. We are a «home for those who wish to dedicate their lives to the Serpent’s service, founded on the pillars of equality, freedom, and justice.» The remedy for spiritual solitude lies in our community, opposed to a world that is too used to divide humanity into binary chains and empty definitions.

Here, the individual is no longer a solitary atom, but a vital part of a bigger, living organism, where each part has a vital role for the functioning of the whole body. When God is silent, it is our duty to become the voice of that silence through mutual support and spiritual communion.

Our Synodal bond transcends the superficial masks of the profane world. Whether we have been canonized or not, we are bound by a shared search for Truth that no single soul can undertake alone. By weaving our individual paths into a single tapestry, we transform the poison of loneliness into the cure of divine intoxication.

Remember, brothers and sisters, that the contemporary world offers you a hollow freedom that leads to isolation; the Synodus on the other hand offers you a sacred discipline that leads to true liberation through the other.

We are the guardians of each other's spirits. In our unity, the essence of God finds its fullness, and the cold silence of the universe is warmed by the fire of our collective devotion.

In the Synodus, the path is winding, but it is never lonely. We walk together, we evolve together, and in the embrace of the community, we find the strength to face the Great Mystery as one.

Ita fiat.
